Feminism and Women’s Rights are very important to me. This illustrations were created for a women’s empowerment festival that I was invited to host a booth at. They feature Marilyn Monroe, Frida Kahlo, Princess Diana of Wales, Malala Yousafzai, and Cleopatra; all women who are well-known and appreciated for a variety of reasons whether it be their talent, beauty, wits, or grace.
The reaction from people at the festival was incredible. When creating these, I had no idea that they would resonate and empower so many women! The best compliment I received was from someone who told me I had drawn every type of beauty there is – inside and out. After the festival, upon request from many, I sold these illustrations as prints.
